What is Literacy Gardeners?
A youth-led initiative based in Karachi that helps students express themselves through workshops, competitions, and publishing opportunities.
Who can join?
Our workshops are open for everyone who’s interested learning. We recommend ages of 15-45, however, this is not a strict limit and we welcome all without any biases. Volunteering roles are open to passionate individuals.
Where are you based?
We’re currently operating in Karachi – working with schools and students locally
Are the workshops free?
No, but we keep them affordable
Monthly workshop free: 1000 PKRCompetition free: 1000 PKR (includes a chance to get published!)
All of our events include many more extra features which are given to registered students for free.
Will students get published?
Yes! Top students from competitions will be published in our anthology – for free – with certificates and a possible launch event
Can I volunteer if I'm not a writer?
Absolutely! We welcome designers, planners, editors, social media creatives – anyone with heart and sincerity.
